We work together with local and organic farmers and they come to pick up all organic waste to use for their land, compost and food for the farm animals.

EUorganic_logo Yes we are organic! Our CBPAE number is 1213E

At Potion Juicery we use the cold-pressed method. Cold pressed juices are made using a special hydraulic press. The two stainless steel plates in the machine extract juices from organic fruits and vegetables by applying tremendous pressure. Since this process does not involve blending, this ensures nutrients are not exposed to heat and oxygen, which results in a high quality juice with great flavour and a longer shelf life than regular juice.

Our juices are cold pressed, unpasteurized, raw and contain no additional preservatives. Depending on the juice, the shelf life is 3 – 4 days. If you have chosen a 5-day cleanse, you will receive two deliveries, one for the first three days, and one for the last two.

We use Polyethylene terephthalate (PET or PETE) #1 bottles because this is best option for single use plastic containers. Plastic uses considerably less energy than glass to be recycled and it’s much lighter than glass bottles. This means less fuel is used for producing and transporting each bottle. However we are always considering the best option, for now this is our best option.

Our production kitchen is in Ibiza town. You are welcome to come visit!

Absolutely! We are gluten free. Absolutely NO additives, preservatives and 100% vegan.

The main benefit of green juice is its alkalizing effect. Fruit juices are more astringent; essentially the fruit digs it up and the green moves it out. Think of how your eyes start to water and maybe your nose runs a little when you bite into a lemon – citrus is a wonderful natural expectorant.

During a juice cleanse your digestive system gets a break from processing solid food. Your body is designed to detoxify naturally, but while cleansing you’re speeding up the process of rejuvenation. Everyone is exposed to toxins found in the air, food, water and even your lifestyle / environment. Your organs like the liver, kidneys and your skin (!) are always working hard on processing all the stuff put in your body. Vital energy used to digest food can now be used for cleaning and healing the inner body. Benefits may include glowing skin, brighter eyes, improved energy and mental clarity, improved digestion, and a general feeling of wellbeing.

This depends on your experience and purpose. The difference in the 3 different Levels of juice cleanses is the amount of green juice. Greener means more vegetables, less calories and less natural sugars. For those who have never cleansed before we recommend to begin with the 3-day Level 1 juice cleanse.

Yes, it does. The juices are ordered and we recommend you to drink in this order. When your stomach is empty first thing in the morning, it’s able to better absorb all the nutrients than if you consumed something prior. That’s why we always start with a fresh green juice. And for the night we end with a creamy almond milk to help you stay full through the night.

Most likely, you will be hungry, especially in the first few days because your body is adjusting to consuming liquids only. We recommend you to take this time to pamper your self by having a massage. Another good distraction is going for walks, do light exercises and watch movies.

For maximum results we recommend you to abstain from eating solid food. However, ultimately this is not about deprivation and you need to listen to your body. If you feel that you do need to eat something, we suggest you eat soaked raw almonds or something chewable like banana or avocado. But better to eat something that’s in the ingredients list of your juices, for example a slice of cucumber or a few celery stalks. Remember that eating solid food during a cleanse slows down the detoxifying process.

Exercise helps the detoxification process. Do your exercises but listen to your body and be gentle. During your juice cleanse it helps to do yoga, stretching, walking or swimming.

Pregnancy is a time for building and nourishing, and although the juices are extremely nutritious, they also encourage a strong detoxification of the body, which is not ideal when pregnant or nursing.
